Outreach Ministry
At FBC Umatilla we believe God is doing incredible things, and we love being part of His vision for our lives. We want more than anything to tell the people of the world about what Jesus Christ has done for us, as well as taking care of people. Whether broken, healing or healthy spiritually and physically, we want to love you with the love of Christ.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:16-18
Here at FBC Umatilla, we desire to reach people beyond the doors of our church. We believe that we are the hands and feet of Christ, and we want to meet people’s needs both physically and spiritually. As Christians, we are called to more. To give more. To love more. To become more so that Christ is more in this world.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Orphans Rock
Orphans Rock is a thrift store located in Mount Dora FL, but it is so much more than that! All profits from Orphans Rock go to funding World Missions! We have recently drilled wells in Africa as well as built churches completely funded by Orphans Rock!
Safe Horizons
Safe Horizons is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Umatilla serving at risk children.
We are advocates, supporters, and prayer warriors who are helping to fight the fastest growing criminal activity in the world, human trafficking. We do this by supporting organizations, serving foster kids and fulfilling needs of troubbled youth in our community.
