Kentucky Mission Trip 2021
2021 KENTUCKY MISSION TRIP INFORMATION
Dates: 2 options Work May 16-22 &/or October 10-16, plus travel days to and from. You are welcome and encouraged to go both times if that's God's call!
Destination: Lynch, KY and Meridzo Ministries (11-12 hrs drive)
Team Leader: Jeanne Hays
Crew chief: Steve Neal
30-40 volunteers needed each week
Duties: restoration/renovation of buildings, drywall, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, cleaning, caulking, sweeping, scraping, sanding, painting, roofing, A/C, mechanic, sewing, cooking, gardening. Sign ups on application.
Cost: Solomon’s Porch (Hotel), $15.00-$25.00 per person per night (Many rooms have 1 double or queen bed or 2 twin beds, no king)
Plus meals: $70 per person for the week’s (15) meals + snacks
RV hookups available down street. Contact Portal 31 (606)848-3131. Campers will pay for meals only for the week. Otherwise, payment will be to RV Campground.
Limited scholarship funds are available.

Please pray and seek GOD’s will for you regarding this very important opportunity to serve in a very underprivileged area of Appalachia. If God is calling you to go, HE will make a way for it to happen for you. Please share this with your family and friends so that they may pray for you and perhaps go with you on the trip. You are welcome to take older children and teens and involve them in assisting you going on at the time. Children will not be allowed in the construction area.
