Men
The Men’s Ministry here at FBC Umatilla is a ministry dedicated to helping men be the godly men God calls us to be. We believe by reading the word of God that a godly man is a servant. Being a spiritual leader does not mean dominating your family. It means serving your family, and being a godly example to your wife and children. The mission of this men’s ministry is to provide men with resources to develop godly character, and to equip them to influence the world for Christ. Becoming a Christian is not a destination; it is the beginning of a life-long journey.
The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.
Women
The focus of the Women’s Ministry at FBC Umatilla is to renew our thirst for God and pursue genuine relationships with others. We want to offer opportunities for women to learn from one another while encouraging, serving, and blessing others. At each of our events, we give an opportunity to serve others either through a love offering or bringing needed items. We have helped mission causes across the world from serving women in crisis here in Umatilla to providing a goat and well to people in India. We seek to make a meaningful impact on women’s lives and not just be another “thing” to attend.
