What to Expect

When you visit our campus, we want you to experience two things. The first, and the most important thing, we want you to experience is the love of God. Second, we want you to experience the FBC Umatilla family because you are one of us. Worship at FBC Umatilla is a contemporary blended service that has something for everyone. We desire to be closer to God, and all the worship will be aimed at drawing us closer to Him. Our attire is come as you are. We would rather you come and give your best to God, which is yourself than to be worried about bringing your best clothes to God. If you worship in a suit or shorts it is great with us. You never know what to expect during our services, and we find it keeps things exciting and fresh. After we sing, we have a time where we hear God’s word spoken to us through Pastor Brooks Braswell.

Our services usually last about an hour, but we always listen when the spirit moves, so we try not to let our services be held to a time frame when God is moving in people’s lives.  If you are a parent, feel at ease because we love kids here at FBC Umatilla and our secure Children’s Department is taking great care of your children while teaching them about Christ… as well as having a bunch of fun.We really like to have fun here at FBC Umatilla, but past all of the humor, we believe in God’s word and strive to teach His word deeper. We believe God’s word changes lives, not the cool things we can do with lights, cameras, and anything else we can think of (though we enjoy those things too!). We have been very blessed at how our God has moved in our church. He is changing lives and breaking down walls here, and we would love for you to experience how amazing our God really is along with us, and maybe make some great friends along the way.
