Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be something for my kids?

We will not be having our normal kids ministry opportunities on Easter Sunday. We will have kid packets for pick up for k-5th grades, and our nursery will be open for infants through pre-k.

How early should I arrive?

We encourage everyone to arrive 20 minutes before service to grab a coffee and get settled. The sanctuary won’t be open until about 10 minutes before each service. If seating is unavailable in our sanctuary when you arrive there will be extra seating available in overflow areas throughout the church.

Can I watch the service from home?

Absolutely! We live stream every Sunday morning service, to an online community of over 2000 people. Hop on and get engaged!

Do I need to dress up to come to church?

Not at all! Though our Pastor does often wear suits, they typically are meant as jokes. At First Umatilla, we value every generation and we value authenticity – that means everyone comes as they are. You will see some people wearing suits, and others wearing jorts and cut-off tees. If you like to dress up for Easter, you’ll fit in. If you’re going fishing in the morning and rushing to church with no time to change, you’ll fit right in.
